Brevard County, Florida Inmate Search

Brevard County law enforcement is responsible for arresting individuals and taking them through booking procedures before transferring them to the county jail.

During booking, identifying information, charges, and custody details are recorded. These records are the information typically provided when members of the public conduct a Brevard County inmate search through the Sheriff’s Office. This office operates the county jail.

Inmate Search by Jail Facility

The main Brevard County Jail Complex uses the Arrest Inquiry database on the Sheriff’s Office’s website as its official jail roster. Individuals can look up adult male and female inmates through the portal.

People in alternative sentencing, such as Work Release or Sheriff’s Farm programs, are considered standard inmates and can be found on the official public roster.

Brevard County Visitation Rules and Schedules

Brevard County Jail allows friends and family to interact with people in custody through video visits. Visitation can be conducted from home or at the facility’s on-site video center.

Regardless of the medium, prior registration on the facility’s video visitation partner’s website is required. After signing up, the user must request approval from the inmate. Once that is secured, the visitor may select an available time slot and schedule a visit.

Visits can be arranged between 24 hours and up to 7 days in advance. If using the on-site video terminals, adults must provide a valid government-issued photo ID, and visitors aged 17 or under must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Whether using the video terminals or visiting through home devices, visitors are expected to dress and behave appropriately at all times. Profanity, lewd behavior, or illegal activity can result in suspended visiting privileges.
